Health & Safety - Legionella

Legionella Awareness (LA)

Description
This Legionella Awareness course is designed for all those who need an awareness of Legionella bacteria.

At the end of this course you should be able to understand what Legionella bacteria is and how it affects you. You should understand the relevant Guidance and Legislation, the requirements of the HSE's ACOP L8, what should be included in a Legionella Risk Assessment and when to test for Legionella bacteria.

At the end of the course you will sit an online test so you can demonstrate your understanding of the course material. The test includes multiple choice questions with a pass mark of 70%. You have a maximum of five attempts to pass the test.

On successful completion of the course you can download a CPD Accredited course certificate which is valid for a period of two years. The certificate is only valid for two years to meet the HSE's ACOP L8 requirement for regular training.
