Legionella Awareness (LA)


Description
This CPD Accredited Legionella Awareness course is designed for all those who need to be able to demonstrate an awareness of Legionella bacteria. Completing this course will award 2 CPD Hours/Points.

This course has been written by qualified water industry professionals who have over 20 years experience, members of the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering, Water Safe Registered, recognised as “Approved Contractors” under the Water Regulations and whose skills, knowledge and experienced have been recognised by Trust Mark and Trading Standards.

The course covers the requirements of the Health & Safety Executives Approved Code of Practice L8 and HSG 274. The course is suitable for anyone, especially for business owners, landlords, duty holders, facilities management or anyone working health and safety.

At the end of the course there is a “Knowledge Check” which will allow you to demonstrate your understanding of the course material. The pass mark for the test is 70%. You have a maximum of five attempts to pass the test. On successful completion of the course you can down load a CPD accredited certificate.

Access to the course is available for 30 days, If the course is not successfully completed within 30 days or you do not pass the knowledge check then you have failed the course and a new course will need to be paid for.
